QA/QC Inspector

• Conduct visual inspections of welding and fabrication work in accordance with project specifications, codes, and standards (e.g., ASME, AWS, API).
• Verify welding procedures, welder qualifications, and ensure compliance with the Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
• Perform fit-up, in-process, and final weld inspections using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and documentation for quality records and audits.
• Monitor and ensure that all materials and equipment used meet the required quality standards and are traceable.
• Monitor Punchlist
• Review of Manufacturers data book.
• Liaise with third-party inspectors, clients, and contractors to resolve quality issues and coordinate inspection activities.
• Ensure compliance with project quality plans, ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans), and QA/QC procedures.
• Identify and report quality-related problems and participate in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
• Support audits and contribute to continual improvement of the QA/QC system.
• Ensure safe work practices are followed during inspections.

Qualifications:

• CSWIP 3.1 or 3.2 Certification (mandatory)
• Minimum of [8] years of experience in QA/QC inspection in the oil & gas, construction, or manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of welding processes (SMAW, GTAW, MIG/MAG, etc.) and NDT techniques.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality systems and project documentation control.
• Excellent attention to detail, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and specifications.
• Able to prepare quality documents such us ITP, Quality Plan, NDE Procedures, etc.
• With knowledge on different internal codes and standards such as AWS, ASME, DNV Rules, ABS rules, LR Rules.
• With knowledge/ background on painting inspection.
• Knowledge on Pumps and Generators is an advantage.
• Working hour: 8:30am – 6pm (Mon – Fri)
