Bedok - Wholesale Trade Director

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development and execution of the company’s wholesale trade strategy, identifying new market opportunities, and strengthening relationships with existing suppliers and customers. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on management, as the Wholesale Trade Director will work closely with teams in procurement, logistics, sales, and marketing to ensure smooth, efficient operations.The director will be tasked with setting sales targets, analyzing performance metrics, and implementing processes that drive profitability while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Experience is the most important qualification for this role, with a minimum of 10 years in wholesale trade, ideally in a senior management or director-level position. While educational background is not a determining factor, the candidate must have a proven track record of success in managing large-scale operations, building strong supplier relationships, and optimizing supply chain processes.Additionally, experience in liaising with suppliers in China will be highly beneficial, as strong communication and negotiation skills are essential for working with international partners to ensure smooth sourcing and timely delivery of products.
The Wholesale Trade Director will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards, as well as managing the company’s budget and resources effectively. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills will be critical in this role, as the director will collaborate with senior leadership to steer the company toward achieving its business objectives.The candidate should be proactive, results-oriented, and capable of making data-driven decisions to drive continuous improvement across all facets of wholesale operations.
