Business Development Director – APAC & IMEA - Toa Payoh

  1. Role Overview

The Business Development Director – APAC & IMEA is responsible for driving regional growth, strategic partnerships, and market expansion initiatives across Asia-Pacific, India, Middle East, and Africa. The role involves developing new business opportunities, strengthening key customer relationships, and supporting the implementation of ASSA ABLOY’s digital and security solutions in hospitality and enterprise sectors.

  1. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead business development and market expansion initiatives across APAC and IMEA regions.
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with global business goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with hotel groups, developers, system integrators, and channel partners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams – Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Product – to deliver customer-centric solutions.
  • Manage stakeholder engagement and represent the company at industry conferences and customer meetings.
  • Provide market insights, competitor analysis, and regional performance reports to global leadership.
  • Oversee business proposals, contract negotiations, and pipeline management using CRM tools.
  1. Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business and technology management.
  • Minimum 10 years of regional business development or sales leadership experience.
  • Proven record of managing multi-country portfolios and achieving growth targets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in hospitality technology solutions preferred.
  1. Reporting Line
Reports directly to the Senior Vice President, Global Business Development (APAC & IMEA) and Chief Revenue Officer of Nomadix Assa Abloy.
  1. Purpose of Employment in Singapore

To lead regional strategic business development activities, coordinate key account management for Asia-Pacific markets, and serve as the primary liaison between global leadership and regional partners. The Singapore base enables effective collaboration with clients, distributors, and internal teams across the region.
