Company Overview

We are seeking an IT Specialist to support daily IT operations, infrastructure reliability, and user systems across the organisation. This role will serve as the key point of contact for IT matters, ensuring smooth business operations while coordinating closely with external vendors and internal stakeholders.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for IT support across office users and retail environments.
• Provide technical support for laptops, desktops, mobile devices, POS systems, and business applications.
• Ensure all endpoints are properly configured, patched, secured, and maintained.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues in a timely manner.t
• Oversee the company’s network infrastructure, servers, and cloud systems to ensure reliable and secure operations.
• Manage user access control, permissions, and identity management in accordance with company IT policies.
• Maintain secure access to corporate systems and data while preventing unauthorised use.
• Act as the main liaison with external IT vendors and managed service providers.
• Monitor vendor service levels, review reports, and follow up on outstanding issues.
• Lead incident response and troubleshooting efforts to minimise operational disruption.
• Document root causes, corrective actions, and improvement measures following incidents.
• Maintain and periodically test backup and disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.
• Maintain and update IT documentation including SOPs, system guides, and IT policies.
• Support company compliance with data protection and information security standards.
• Ensure IT processes and policies are communicated and followed across the organisation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
• Minimum 5 years of IT support or IT operations experience, preferably in corporate, retail, or multi-site environments.
• Strong hands-on experience supporting end-user systems, enterprise applications, and network infrastructure.
• Experience managing external IT vendors or managed service providers.
