Japanese Sales Manager - Sembawang - ref. f20066819

Responsibilities:

• Aggressively source and secure new accounts and business for Airfreight / Oceanfreight/ Warehousing services
• Conduct market research to identify business strategy, to meet customer objectives and evaluating the prospect company's position in the industry.
• Actively seek out new Japanese sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media
• Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their needs and concerns
• Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services
• Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
• Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
• Collaborate with team members to achieve better results
• Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams

Requirements and skills:

• Fluent in Japanese language as needed to support Japanese customers.
• Good writing skill in Japanese for reporting to Japan HQ.
• Possess bachelor’s degree in Japan University.
• Proven experience as a Sales Manager or relevant role in international Forwarding and warehousing business
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Excellent marketing and negotiating techniques
• Fast learner and passion for Japanese sales and warehousing service
