Systems Engineer (Infrastructure Projects and Support) - Woodlands

Role Overview:
We are seeking a Systems Engineer to support infrastructure deployments and operational systems support across both Acclivis-hosted environments and customer sites. You will work across Windows, Linux (RHEL), VMware, and Hyper-V platforms — performing setup, patching, and troubleshooting tasks in a lean and dynamic engineering team.
This is a hands-on, field-capable role suited for professionals with experience in both project delivery and managed infrastructure support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy and configure systems during infrastructure rollout or onboarding projects
- Perform OS patching, backup setup, capacity checks, and DR readiness
- Support L2/L3 operational issues on Windows Server, RHEL, and VMware platforms
- Respond to incident escalations and document root cause analysis
- Visit customer sites when required for deployments or issue resolution
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline
- Industry certifications such as MCSA, VMware VCP, or RHCSA are preferred experience
- 4–7 years of systems administration and infrastructure support experienc
Proficient with:
- Windows Server (2016/2019/2022)
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
- VMware vSphere / ESXi
- Familiarity with IBM AIX, backup (Veeam/Zerto), and monitoring tools is a plus
- Strong problem-solving, documentation, and customer-facing communication skills
- Able to travel for onsite work and respond to live operational needs
