The Senior Executive/Executive, Marketing Communication is responsible for supporting the development and execution of marketing communication initiatives, with a focus on digital marketing and social media. This role responsible to develop and implement marketing campaigns, manage owned marketing platforms, create engaging content for the social media channels, boost relations with media and influencers, and tracking the effectiveness of marketing strategies.

The candidate will be a key member in the Marketing Communication team of Defence Collective Singapore (DCS); as a brand custodian of Singapore Discovery Centre, Singapore Navy Museum, Singapore Air Force Museum and upcoming brands subsumed under the DCS umbrella.

Responsibilities:

  • Be a driver for the Marketing Communication function to meet organisational goals and desired outcomes.
  • Manage the whole suite of Marketing Communication functions, which includes digital marketing, social media content development, media relations, marketing & publicity, advertising & promotions, and events.
  • Act as brand custodian for brands under the Defence Collective Singapore(DCS) umbrella, including the Singapore Discovery Centre, Singapore Navy Museum and Singapore Air Force Museum.
  • Develop and execute marketing communication strategies for digital channels including social media, email marketing, and search engine optimisation (SEO).
  • Manage social media channels for the organisation, including content creation, follower engagement, and monitoring analytics.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in digital marketing and social media.
  • Develop DCS LinkedIn content designed to integrate defence messaging, aligning with DCS’s mission, and enhancing brand positioning.
  • Curate and develop DCS-branded materials with relevance and resonance to varied target audience groups; ensure brand consistency, effective distribution, and manage related logistics.
  • Support the Assistant Manager in Marcom initiatives and projects, demonstrating strong teamwork and collaboration.
  • Any other tasks/projects as assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Communication or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of related experience in marketing communication, with a focus on digital marketing and social media.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and platforms.
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Great attention to details; with a flair for aesthetic.
  • Competent with a strong marketing acumen, result oriented and loves to create content for social media.
  • Creative, cheerful and fun-loving!
