Warehouse Supervisor / Stock Controller - Chemical / Oil & Gas Plant - Jurong West

WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR - CHEMICAL INDUSTRY @ JURONG ISLAND - TRANSPORT PROVIDED AT JURONG EAST MRT

• Supervise and coordinate the warehouse team to ensure efficient and safe operations in the packaging department
• Determine and creating batch or lot numbers, quantity and type of packaging according to production schedule.
• Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of chemical products
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Manage inventory of chemical products, packaging supplies, raw materials, and other consumables in product & Packaging building
• Observe personnel working in the packaging warehouse to make sure all work is done in a safe efficient manner according to procedures.
• Identify and address any operational issues or bottlenecks
• Receive and inspect all imported material to make sure it meets our standards. Produced the received material into the GSAP system to keep system inventories up to date
• Provide training and development opportunities for the warehouse team
• Collaborate with other departments to optimise warehouse processes
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management principles and best practices
• Knowledge of shipping, receiving and warehouse management to include handling and shipment of waste materials, knowledge of freight rates and tariffs, manufacturing specifications, budgeting, and packaging equipment
• Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve operational excellence
• Proficient in using warehouse management software and data analysis tools
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

STOCK CONTROLLER - TERMINAL INDUSTRY @ PENJURU - TRANSPORT PROVIDED AT JURONG EAST MRT

• Responsible for the day to day stock administration and planning to ensure safe, smooth and efficient operations in the terminal and to meet customer standards and expectations.
• Monitoring and maintaining accurate inventory records and stock level
• Lead the team in troubleshooting and problem solving in variance control
• Act as Independent Stock controller when assigned by the Operations / Terminal manager
• Work closely with Shift Team Leader on stock hand-over and control
• Participate on Terminal stock audit
• Identifying discrepancies and implementing corrective actions
• Liaising with procurement, production and sales teams to ensure stock is available to meet demand
• Supporting the implementation of inventory management systems and processes
• Providing reporting and analytics to management on stock performance
• Train and supervise Operations team members on stock management
• Handle Truck Operations

• Diploma / others with applicable working experience in terminal industry
• Having in-depth knowledge in chemicals, petroleum and gas
• Wealth of hands-on knowledge of terminal operations and in depth site-specific knowledge
