About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated Technical Officer (Maintenance) to join our team. You will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance of ticketing devices and related equipment at MRT stations, bus interchanges, and service centres.This role plays a vital part in ensuring the reliability and smooth operation of Singapore’s transit systems.
What You’ll Be Doing- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on LTA and TL devices to ensure reliability
- Follow safety procedures and risk assessments during maintenance work
- Support setup or relocation of devices at Ticketing Service Centres and e-Lobbies
- Maintain lighting systems and support equipment at Ticket Service Centres as needed
- Ensure safe housekeeping of maintenance site offices
- Assist Engineers or Supervisors with maintenance or project tasks
- Supervise contractors during repair and ad-hoc testing works at Ticketing Service Centres
- Deliver spare parts from the store at HQ to stations or bus interchanges when required
- Carry out other duties as instructed by Management
- Experience in troubleshooting transit or electro-mechanical equipment is an advantage
- Holds a valid Class 3 driving licence
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Punctual, disciplined, and able to work independently
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Willing to work shifts (0700–1630 / 1300–2230), weekends, public holidays, and occasional nights
- This role will be stationed at Toa Payoh (central zone).
