Process Engineer, PTO (WDA) – 2 years contract

Our Engineers support internal and external manufacturing operations remain operational, continuously improve and innovate. With our extensive range of facilities and environments, our Engineers have opportunities across many diverse areas including Biological, Chemical, Automation, Capital Projects, Maintenance, Safety, Process Development, Technical Services, Utilities and Validation.
The Process Engineer will provide technical supply support on the commercialization and manufacture of all drug products support to enhance site performance metrics and contribute to the global company technical network.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
The critical responsibilities include the following but is not limited to:
- Provides technical guidance in support of site projects and responsible to transfer the knowledge of the project and facility to integrated process team colleagues.
- Provides technical support to product, equipment and manufacturing and cleaning processes in response to deviations, product complaints and adverse events to identify point of occurrence, root cause and corrective preventative actions.
- Supports routine supply manufacture by providing on going technical support to the operations function, participates in tier meeting processes and implement opportunities for improvement utilizing company production systems tools.
- Proactively monitors the performance of process parameters, critical quality attributes, equipment, modules and unit operations performance during manufacturing and cleaning.
- Any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
WHAT YOU MUST HAVE
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Bachelor or Masters Degree in a technical field including Chemical, Mechanical Engineering or Pharmaceutical Sciences
- Minimum 2 years of technical experience in oil and gas or semiconductor industries preferred
- Knowledge of problem-solving tools such as fishbone analysis, 5 WHY, logic fault tree and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of data analysis and familiarity with use of statistical software such as Minitab is preferred
- Good verbal communication skill and technical writing skill
- Attention to detail

- PMETs or Mid-Careerist with no prior work experience in biopharma industry are welcomed to apply
