About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Customer Service Officer to join their operations team. In this role, you will take charge of import/export documentation, coordinate with agents, shipping lines, and warehouses, and provide end-to-end customer support.

This position is ideal for a responsible team player with logistics or freight forwarding experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

In charge of import/export documentation and processing
Manage shipping documentation (import, L/C, Bill of Lading)
Provide customer support for shipments, including sending pre-alerts and invoicing
Offer after-sales support and follow up with clients until the entire transaction is completed
Handle customer enquiries or complaints
Send all necessary information and documentation to clients, agents, shipping companies, forwarders, and warehouses accurately and on time
Liaise with agents and shipping companies on cargo status
Knowledge of LCL cargo consolidation
Perform other ad-hoc duties as required

Requirements

Minimum GCE N or O Level
Responsible, positive attitude, able to work independently and as a team player
Preferably with logistics, shipping, or freight forwarding experience
