Business Intelligence (BI) Developer - Tableau (UP $6k, Ubi, 6 Months)

RecruitFirst is hiring! You will be outsourced to:

• Location: Ubi
• Salary: Up to $6,000 Basic
• Duration: 6 Months
• Working hours: Monday to Friday 830am to 6pm

• Migrate dashboards, reports, and BI assets from legacy Netezza-connected tools to Snowflake-based environments.
• Reconfigure and optimise data sources, queries, and extracts for Snowflake architecture.
• Redesign and optimise dashboards to improve performance, refresh times, and usability.
• Perform end-to-end data validation to ensure accuracy and consistency post-migration.
• Document BI assets, data definitions, and migration processes; support user knowledge transfer.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritise critical reports and minimise business disruption.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in BI development or reporting roles.
• Strong expertise in SQL, dashboard design, and data visualisation best practices.
• Hands-on experience with BI migration projects, especially from on-premise to cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in Tableau and Power BI (including optimisation and migration).
• Experience working with Snowflake and cloud environments (AWS preferred).
• Familiarity with data modelling concepts (star schema, dimensional models).
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and access controls.
