Front Arena Prime Developer - Bukit Merah

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

You will be part of a DevOps team spanning Singapore and Zurich, providing technical and functional analysis support to users, and contributing to development tasks.

• Contribute to the strengthening of the team spirit and the fostering of a collaborative work environment across locations.
• Motivate and provide guidance/feedback to other team members to improve overall performance.

• Work to fulfil the ambitions of the team defined by Head of Vendor Solutions/FIS and the Markets Operational Value Stream.
• Actively participate and support the head of the team to regularly review and improve team practices to optimise efficiency and productivity.
• Continuously drive and improve systems and processes.

• Effective and progressive management of all stakeholders and users of Front Arena and especially the Singapore Trading desk.
• Solicit and discuss requirements and solutions with business owners and stakeholders.
• Provide regular updates to key stakeholders through the various channels used by the team.

• Actively participate and support Program Increment (PI) planning process within Markets.
• Support change management and release rollout planning.
• Provide dedicated post implementation support locally in Asia.

• Provide best-in-class support to the business and user community of Front Arena and associated systems.
• Proactively manage issues raised and escalated to the team by providing timely resolution and feedback.
• Ensure systems are behaving in a stable state by performing general system checks and maintenance tasks.
• Perform technical as well as functional analysis on issues through a combination of system behaviour, log files and scripts.
• Contribute to the development of Front Arena to improve the application’s functionality and stability.
• Plan, test and deploy code releases in accordance with bank standards and processes.

• Demonstration of appropriate values and behaviours including but not limited to standards on honesty and integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing (treating customers fairly), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, adequate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

• Able to work independently and in a global team setup to take on initiatives with a positive attitude.
• Solution orientated and able to work in an agile setup.
• Senior and confident in stakeholder management, especially with Trading desks.
• Able to quickly troubleshoot problems and provide effective solutions.
• Have an open mindset to problem solving and willing to troubleshoot issues that may not be clear at the beginning.
• Good communication/coordination skills to deal with different levels of stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills, able to structure and document requirements and solution options.
• Highly motivated with integrative personality.

• Relevant higher educational and professional background with 10+ years of experience in Front Arena Prime.
• Business knowledge of most asset class but primarily spanning Equity and Structured Products and its derivatives covering trading, sales, execution and financial instruments.
• Basic understanding of service/application functionality related to trading, risk management, life cycle event handling and reporting
• Have profound hands-on experience in Front Arena PRIME front-end applications and functionalities
• Experienced ACM/ADFL developer
• Experience in FA component as: ADS, AMB, AMBA, ATS, APH
• Basic technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, MSSQL and Citrix
