As an Assistant Nurse Clinician/ Senior Nurse Clinician (NICU / O&G / Labour), you will provide specialised clinical leadership and advanced nursing care for infants, children and mothers across paediatric, neonatal (NICU) and labour & delivery settings.

You will drive high standards of nursing practice, mentor clinical staff, and ensure safe, effective patient-centred care in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, coordinate and oversee the delivery of comprehensive nursing care for patients in Paediatrics, NICU and Labour & Delivery, including the management of complex clinical cases.
  • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate advanced nursing interventions in accordance with current clinical standards and evidence-based practice.
  • Provide clinical supervision, guidance and expertise to nursing staff to ensure high-quality, safe and consistent care delivery.
  • Serve as a clinical resource and advisor on specialty nursing matters to patients, families and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Mentor and guide junior nurses, Assistant Nurse Clinicians and other team members to support clinical competence, professional development and career progression.
  • Plan and conduct regular clinical teaching sessions, in-service training and competency assessments to strengthen specialty nursing practice.
  • Lead staff performance reviews, provide constructive feedback and support ongoing learning and development initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development, implementation and review of clinical protocols, standard operating procedures and care pathways for Paediatrics, NICU and Labour & Delivery services.
  • Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, research activities and case reviews to enhance patient safety, care quality and clinical outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, organisational policies and professional standards at all times.
Requirements
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Advanced Diploma in Nursing (Paediatrics) or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid BCLS + AED Certification.
  • Valid Practicing Certificate issued by the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in paediatric nursing and at least 2 years of experience as an Assistant Nurse Clinician.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of regulatory standards.
