Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. This role focuses on network and system monitoring, incident management, and ensuring seamless infrastructure operations across a global environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong problem-solving skills, a solid foundation in ITIL processes, and hands-on experience with monitoring tools and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform 24/7 monitoring of IT infrastructure, including servers, network devices, and cloud services.
• Detect, analyze, and respond to incidents and outages to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
• Coordinate incident escalation and resolution with internal teams and external vendors.
• Maintain documentation on network performance, incident reports, and operational procedures.
• Conduct proactive maintenance, including patching, updates, and system health checks.
• Support IT service management (ITSM) processes including Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
• Assist in root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate on business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including application support, infrastructure, and service desk.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure or NOC operations.
• Strong understanding of ITIL v4 principles and incident lifecycle management.
• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Splunk) and ticketing systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proactive, analytical thinker with a passion for service reliability.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• Exposure to database environments (SQL, MySQL) or infrastructure-related DB monitoring.
• Basic knowledge of scripting or automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
• Previous experience supporting clients in hospitality, travel, or enterprise IT environments.
