Assistant Warehouse Manager (3PL)

• Minimum Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse management and operations, specifically in the freight forwarding industry, with strong knowledge of customs and shipping documentation for AIR/SEA.

Our Client, a 3rd party logistics company in Singapore, is inviting qualified candidates to fill the position as Assistant Warehouse Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in managing the day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, and dispatching.
• Supervise and coordinate the warehouse team, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring timely execution of duties.
• Ensure adherence to safety, cleanliness, and inventory control procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, goods movement, and stock levels in the WMS system
• Handle and resolve operational issues, including delays, discrepancies, and staff conflicts.
• Ensure efficient space utilization and layout planning.
• Support training and onboarding of new warehouse staff.
• Monitor equipment usage and coordinate preventive maintenance or repair as needed.
• Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse productivity and efficiency.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proficient in WMS (SAP/AS400) and Microsoft Office: Word, Powerpoint
• Diploma or higher qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse management and operations, specifically in the freight forwarding industry, with strong knowledge of customs and shipping documentation for AIR/SEA.
• Knowledge of Zero GST Scheme, Measure Export Scheme, RACA (Regulated Air Cargo Agent Regime), and ISO standards.
• Experience working with Singapore Customs to obtain Zero-GST Warehouse Type 3 Enhanced Banding license.
• Experience collaborating with consultants, Airport Police Division (SPF/APD), and Singapore Customs to certify companies as RACA members (security control measures).
• Familiarity with advising on ISO 9001/2008 matters, STP, Z-GST Licensed Warehouse, and RACA Security Program.
