We are hiring a Junior Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer to support enterprise infrastructure operations and contribute to ongoing cloud transformation initiatives. This role is ideal for early-career professionals with foundational IT infrastructure experience who are eager to build expertise in cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure and AWS.
Role Overview:The successful candidate will play an active role in supporting day-to-day IT infrastructure operations, assisting in system administration, network support, virtualization, and security. Working closely with infrastructure and application teams, this individual will also contribute to cloud-related initiatives, project implementations, and service delivery improvements in a regulated enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the administration and maintenance of IT infrastructure including servers, network, storage, and virtualization environments
- Assist with cloud platform support, primarily Microsoft Azure and AWS
- Participate in daily operational tasks such as patching, backup administration, access control, and performance monitoring
- Troubleshoot and escalate technical issues in accordance with defined processes and SLAs
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to support system upgrades and infrastructure projects
- Contribute to documentation, inventory updates, and change control processes
- Stay updated on cloud trends and best practices to support continuous learning and growth
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
- 1+ years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure support, including hardware, software, and basic networking
- Exposure to cloud technologies (Azure or AWS); certification such as AZ-104 is an huge advantage
- Knowledge or experience with Active Directory, Windows Server, DNS, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and backup tools
- Strong willingness to learn, ability to work independently, and good communication skills
- Team-oriented with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset
