We are seeking a proactive and experienced Assistant Security Manager to support the daily operations of the Security Department. The role is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests, colleagues, visitors, and hotel/property assets through effective supervision, incident management, and compliance with security procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Security Manager in overseeing the day-to-day security operations.
- Supervise and guide Security Officers to ensure smooth operations across all shifts.
- Conduct regular patrols and inspections of the premises.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, incidents, accidents, and security breaches.
- Investigate incidents and prepare detailed reports.
- Monitor CCTV systems, access control systems, and alarm systems.
- Ensure compliance with company security policies, safety standards, and local regulations.
- Coordinate fire safety and emergency response procedures.
- Support training and development for the security team.
- Liaise with internal departments, external vendors, and local authorities when required.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, lost & found items, and daily occurrences.
- Assist in crowd control and VIP movements during events or high-profile visits.
- Diploma in Security Management, Hospitality, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of security operations experience, preferably in hospitality or commercial properties.
- Supervisory experience is an advantage.
- Possess valid security-related certifications/licenses where applicable.
- Good knowledge of emergency response procedures and investigation techniques.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and report writing.
- Calm and decisive under pressure.
- Strong sense of integrity and professionalism.
- Customer service oriented with attention to detail.
- Team player with good problem-solving skills.
