Role Purpose
Lead Fitness First Singapore’s marketing to deliver measurable growth in acquisition and retention, strengthen brand credibility, and drive clarity in communication.
This role suits a commercially minded strategist who combines data fluency, creative discernment, and executional discipline - able to translate insight into initiatives that deliver measurable business impact in a competitive market. Candidate must be able to combine strategic control, commercial acumen, and creative discipline.
Key Responsibilities
Acquisition & Performance Marketing- Own the end-to-end marketing funnel maintain target CPL, CAC, and ROI.
- Lead agency and internal teams on media strategy, message testing, and conversion optimisation.
- Evaluate campaign data and market trends to identify growth opportunities and address friction points.
- Integrate learnings across digital, CRM, and in-club touchpoints for unified performance.
- Oversee lifecycle programs that drive engagement, reactivation, and retention.
- Build segmentation and automation strategies aligned to commercial outcomes.
- Translate CRM data into insights for Operations and Finance on member value and retention cost.
- Define Singapore’s (in alignment with Regional guidelines) creative and communication tone, ensuring consistency across digital and physical environments.
- Be the brand custodian, guiding content direction, narrative sequencing, and all customer and prospect facing communications.
- Identify whitespace or cultural moments that differentiate Fitness First from competitors.
- Lead offline initiatives and strategic partnerships (where necessary) to generate awareness and customer acquisition.
- Integrate offline experiences seamlessly with online campaigns to reinforce brand presence.
- Manage the marketing budget and ROI reporting, ensuring financial transparency and cost discipline.
- Translate analytics into concise, actionable business insights for senior leadership.
- Maintain a structured cadence for dashboards and business reviews.
- Build capability across acquisition, CRM, and on-ground activation.
- Coach team members to think commercially, execute precisely, and learn from data.
- Create systems that scale and sustain output without additional headcount.
- 8 - 10 years in integrated marketing or brand management (fitness, wellness, or consumer).
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
- Strong command of acquisition and ability to connect numbers to outcomes.
- Proficient in Excel (pivots, lookups, dashboards) and PowerPoint storytelling.
- Strong creative and communication judgement; high attention to tone, timing, and message clarity.
- Passionate in fitness and customer focus with a growth mindset and determination to succeed. Energetic and optimistic team player
- Proficient in interpreting campaign data, generating insights, and identifying optimization opportunities.
- Familiarity with emerging AI-based marketing tools and automation systems (advantageous)
- Experience in developing marketing strategies and managing marketing campaigns
- Strong analytical skills for conducting market research and analyzing data
- Excellent content creation and management skills
- Proficiency in coordinating with sales teams and overseeing digital marketing efforts
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in the fitness or health industry is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
