Job Scope
- Plan daily logistics to ensure timely customer deliveries.
- Prepare sea freight documentation (e.g., Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Customs Declaration).
- Facilitate new customer and vendor onboarding.
- Build strong client relationships to drive satisfaction and retention.
- Manage the sales pipeline and guide clients through each cycle stage.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries with accurate information.
- Track shipments and provide proactive client updates.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, transporters, and customs to ensure smooth operations.
- Plan and schedule trucking operations for maximum efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and company policies.
- Maintain organized administrative and shipping records.
- Troubleshoot operational issues (e.g., delays, transport problems).
- Audit completed jobs to verify billing accuracy for finance.
- Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor or HOD.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics operations.
- Knowledge of sea freight documentation and Singapore customs procedures is an advantage.
- Computer literate, good in documentation skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a dynamic environment.
