Overview:

He/She will also be accountable for the development and implementation of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives within the production environment.

Job Description:

• Provide technical expertise to support the department in maintaining and improving equipment uptime and reliability.
• Act as the deputy for the Maintenance Manager when required.
• Develop strategic maintenance plans and lead initiatives to achieve factory equipment reliability targets.
• Ensure maintenance systems and standard operating procedures are strictly followed by all team members.
• Implement TPM tools and methodologies to progress through the Planned Maintenance Pillar.
• Oversee and ensure the timely and cost-effective execution of major capital investment projects in alignment with the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) capital expenditure budget.
• Own and manage maintenance KPIs, including equipment availability, downtime, and overall equipment effectiveness.
• Develop and continuously enhance the technical skills and competencies of the maintenance team.
• Maintain an organized inventory of critical spare parts, tools, and consumables to support uninterrupted maintenance operations.
• Monitor and control repair and maintenance costs, ensuring alignment with budget targets.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and industry best practices to maintain a safe working environment.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in a manufacturing or automation environment.
• Experience in TPM implementation is preferred.
• Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies is an added advantage.
• Strong background in Equipment and Maintenance Engineering, especially in automation systems.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts across all levels of the organization.
• Effective leadership and coaching skills to guide and develop a team of engineers and technicians.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail for data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Hands-on experience with TPM in a manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma and Lean tools to drive equipment efficiency and reduce waste.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, particularly in high-pressure and time-sensitive situations.
