Job requirements
- Operate and drive Class 4 vehicles (e.g., lorries, trucks) to transport goods to designated locations, including warehouses, clients, and other delivery points.
- Ensure timely and safe delivery to customers with follow road safety rule & regulations.
- Ensure timely collection and delivery of goods according to the daily schedule and planned routes.
- Ensure all goods are handled with care to prevent damage during transit.
- Adhere strictly to all road safety regulations, traffic laws, and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Communicate professionally with clients and warehouse staff during collection and delivery.
- Handle ad-hoc delivery and collection duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Must possess a valid Singapore Class 4 driving license.
- A clean driving record is essential.
- Previous experience as a Class 4 driver, preferably with experience driving 14ft or 24ft trucks or similar heavy vehicles.
- Familiarity with Singapore roads and landmarks.
- Physically fit and able to handle the physical demands of loading and unloading goods.
- Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and a positive working attitude.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work overtime if required by operational needs.
- Able to complete work independently.
