Overview - Manager and Retail Spa

The Salon and Retail Store Manager leads, monitors, and analyzes the daily operations of the SPA establishment under their care and is fully accountable for the store's performance and profitability. The Salon Store Manager cultivates a quality team and sustains a healthy, positive team environment that ensures service operations are delivered smoothly.

• Lead the salon staff team in providing excellent services and maximsing salon profit
• Achieving Sales and Gross Margin targets on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis
• Manage day-to-day operations of the salon including opening and closing procedures, staff behavior and customer intake procedures
• Interview, hire and train salon staff in both product and sales
• skills/procedures, policy and health regulations
• Schedule staff to ensure adequate coverage for the salons needs
• Set individual team member goals and objectives. Monitor staff performance and provide guidance for growth
• Ensure that staff adheres to company policies and procedures
• Resolve customer complaints and provide solutions to staff disputes
• Account for and report profits and expenses of the salon
• Prepare and maintain sales, inventory and customer reports
• Manage salon products inventory by maintaining records of stock quantities on hand,managing theft protection and ensure the merchandise is restocked, replenished, and presented to visual standards
• Keep the salon clean and visually stimulating
• Track and review client retention data and adjust the company's service strategy as necessary
• Assist in implementing marketing activities and carry out a promotional calendar to increase sales productivity Qualifications And Skills
• Secondary degree or equivalent experience in management or administration
• Professional license in cosmetology, esthetics and/or nail technology within the state of
• Ability to communicate in Russian language due to russian speaking clientele salon practice is recommended but not required
• Extensive customer service provider experience
• Advanced organizational skills to manage staff and salon operations
• General bookkeeping and business finance skills
• Excellent communication and teamleadership skills
• Detailed knowledge of the beauty industry and customer needs
• Expertise in basic and advanced nail techniques, including french manicures, airbrushingand gel manicures
• Knowledge of cosmetology trends
• Understanding of sanitation and sterilization standards
• Experience in customer service
• Certification in Cosmetology or Nail Art is a plus
• Certification in Accounting is a plus
• Interest and ability to continue learning about market standards and changes in trends

• Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time and move quickly to accomplish many tasks
