Job Description
- Ensure accurate and timely capture of trades (physical and paper)in CTRM systems, in coordination with trading and operations teams.
- Work closely with Operations to ensure timely updates on delivery and shipment status, maintain accurate cost recognition, and support reasonable estimation and allocation of costs.
- Monitor and analyse trading exposures across physical and derivatives portfolios, ensuring positions remain within approved risk limits.
- Maintain and upload prices and forward curves into CTRM systems to support accurate valuation and risk reporting.
- Produce daily PNL and provide clear attribution and explanation of key drivers behind profit and loss movements.
- Maintain end-to-end reconciliation across front, middle and back-office processes, ensuring full alignment between trading systems, risk/finance records and external counterparties.
- Any other duties as may reasonably be required and assigned by the immediate superior / Management.
- Bachelor’s Degree Holder of Mathematics or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience in commodity market risk or related roles.
- Understanding of Value-at-Risk (VaR)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong understanding of global oil markets, including Platts methodology and MOC pricing mechanisms.
- Experience with ICE and CME trading platforms.
- Knowledge of derivatives clearing processes, including margining and settlement.
- Experience with CTRM systems and full trade lifecycle management.
