Sales Engineer / Senior Sales Engineer (Marine Industry – Marine Valves)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sales strategies for flow control products, systems and valves for the marine industry.
• Identify and source new business leads to expanding the customer base.
• Handle MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations), NB (New Build), and allocated projects with efficiency and expertise.
• Develop sales plans to achieve sales target.
• Understand customer's requirements and advice technical issues.
• Build and nurture relationships with both potential and existing customers.
• Identify product improvements or new products based on current industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
• Prepare quotations and orders in NAV and ensure timely follow-up with customers.

Requirements:

• Candidates must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of sales experience. Relevant experience in Marine Industry is a must.
• Solid technical knowledge of marine valves, valve control products and system experience.
• Proven sales and leadership experience in the Marine Industry.
• Travel within SEA region is required.
• Able to work independently, strong initiative as well as a team player.
• Proficient in MS Office and computer literate.
• Pleasant disposition.
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.
