Finance Manager (Accounting & Ops) - Yishun

Gusto Collective is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee the full spectrum of finance operations in Singapore. This includes internal financial reporting, statutory tax reporting, and IFRS-based accounting.

You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing month-end closing processes, and supporting budgeting and forecasting. Working closely with the Singapore based Finance Director, you will assist with driving the implementation of technology solutions to enhance the accuracy, speed, and cost-efficiency of our financial and operational processes.

Your areas of focus will be:

• Handling the full set of accounting functions for Singapore: maintaining the general ledger, managing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings, preparing audit schedules and financial statements, and reviewing accounting practices for compliance and accuracy
• Managing cash flow and accrual-based forecasting to support financial planning and decision-making
• Overseeing day-to-day finance operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense management
• Implementing and maintaining internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance
• Liaising with external stakeholders such as auditors, tax agents, and the company secretary to ensure timely submissions and compliance
• Working closely with internal teams to provide assist with financial analysis, reporting, and insights that support operational and strategic decisions
• Managing government grant applications and ensuring proper documentation and compliance
• Supporting the review and execution of client service agreements and contracts from a financial and compliance perspective
• Assisting with operational process improvements, system integrations, and adoption of financial tools to increase efficiency and reduce manual work

You will need:

• Educational Background: A degree in Business, Finance or Accounting. Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA, FPAC) are a strong advantage.
• Experience: 3+ years of proven experience in financial management and full set accounting, or related functions.
• Experience in an agency or service-based environment is a big plus.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting systems, especially Xero, and a good understanding of financial reporting tools and workflows.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Able to collaborate effectively across teams and present financial insights to non-finance stakeholders.
• Detail-Oriented: You have a meticulous eye for detail, take pride in accuracy, and are committed to delivering high-quality work.
