Location: Central Region - Outram

Working Hours: Monday – Friday | 6:30am to 4:00pm

• About the Role

Seeking a proactive and dedicated Assistant Unit Manager (AUM) to oversee daily operations at an assigned school outlet. As the primary on-site representative, you will ensure smooth meal service operations, maintain strong relationships with school stakeholders, and lead a small team effectively.

• Key Responsibilities
• Oversee day-to-day operations at the school outlet, ensuring smooth and timely meal preparation and distribution.
• Manage daily opening and closing procedures in full compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Lead a team and ensure smooth teamwork to uphold food safety standards at all times.
• Act as the liaison between the school and the catering team; maintain positive relationships with school administrators and teachers.
• Manage stock levels, place orders, and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Track daily sales, revenue, and wastage.
• Prepare operational reports and support cost-control initiatives.
• Job Requirements
• Proven experience as an Assistant Manager or similar role in the hospitality or food service industry.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and decision-making abilities.
• Familiarity with catering or banquet management software.
• Good knowledge of food sanitation laws.
• Prior experience in cafeteria or food service operations is highly preferred.
• Food safety-related certifications (e.g., Food Safety Certification, HACCP) are advantageous.
• Certificate/Diploma in Hospitality Management or Culinary studies is a plus.
• Postgraduate qualifications (MBA or Master’s in Operations Management) are advantageous.
• Candidates who can start in December 2025 will be given priority.
