Strategic Sourcing Specialist

This job is about finding the right parts, negotiating costs, developing agreements, managing strategic vendors and supporting projects. You leverage the potential of suppliers and develop strong win-win relationships that will allow for cost saving and margin improvement.

• Source material sources, capacity, capability or processing methods to meet business requirements, specifications, quality and cost objectives.
• Proactively identify sourcing challenges, supply risks, or cost pressures, and implement solutions to mitigate and resolve impact, including supply constraints, cost fluctuations, or supplier performance gaps, and implement appropriate corrective actions to the business.
• Negotiate the commercial details, including but not limited to trading terms and pricing, with suppliers to achieve and exceed cost saving and margin improvement targets.
• Set base prices by SKU, set and review pricing matrix discounts in accordance with agreed trading margins.
• Set up and regularly review product categories and item classification in the ERP.
• Review sales and margin trends by product/ vendor for strategic product/ vendor management decision making.
• Conduct supplier audit, drive supplier performance, develop and maintain supplier relationships and manage supplier agreements to achieve win-win situations between suppliers and the Company.
• Ensure world class customer service is achieved.
• Ensure compliance with the Company's sourcing policies and procedures.

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related discipline
• Experience in MRO / Cleanroom products
• Good customer service skills
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
• Effective communication skills
• Good team player with the ability to work effectively under deadlines
• Good organizational skills and able to manage competing priorities effectively in fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
• Self-motivated and discipline in ensuring accountability for designated responsibilities
