Jobs responsibilities:

• Maintain and administer on accounting matters for the portfolio of clients
• Responsible for full set of accounts for SMEs clients within deadline
• Prepare and submission of GST filling
• Preparation of unaudited financial statements in compliance with relevant governing law
• Manage a portfolio of individual and corporate tax clients including clients’ expectations and deliverables
• Prepare and submit Estimated Chargeable Income for corporate clients on a timely basis to meet the filing deadline
• Prepare and submit Income Tax Returns (i.e. Tax Return Forms and income tax computations) for clients on a timely basis to meet the filing deadline
• Deal with queries raised by the Comptroller of Income Tax for clients as and when required
• Responsible for full spectrum of payroll functions in relation to the portfolio of clients (monthly CPF Contribution, IR8A tax submission)
• Provide support for other ad-hoc assignments

Jobs requirements:

• Good understanding of corporate governance, regulatory compliance and accounting principles
• Be proficient and have a good understanding of Singapore Income Tax Act and Singapore Goods and Services Tax (“GST”) Act and other relevant regulations
• Proficient in accounting software (MYOB, Quickbooks, Xero etc.)
• Proficient in XBRL (eXtensible Business Reporting Language)
• Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Meticulous and organised individual with strong initiatives
• Positive work attitudes and willingness to learn
• Ablility to work independently and in a team
