Software Developer (JAVA) - Toa Payoh

Responsibilities:

• Gathering & Analysis: Engage with stakeholders to gather and quantify user requirements. Analyze requirements to define software functionalities and solutions.
• Software Design & Development: Design software architectures and solutions using "Design Patterns." Write clean, maintainable, and secure code, adhering to industry best practices.
• Employ programming techniques such as: Test-Driven Development (TDD) for building reliable software. Pair Programming to foster collaboration and code quality. Secure Coding to protect applications from vulnerabilities.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Ensure adherence to Agile principles and practices, including Scrum.
• Work closely with Solutions Architects, testers, and other team members to ensure successful project delivery. Conduct thorough unit testing to ensure the functionality and quality of deliverables.
• Leverage cloud technologies and frameworks (e.g., Azure) for application development and deployment if applicable.

Requirements:

• Diploma or higher in Computer Studies or a related discipline with minimum of 3 years of experience as a Software Developer.
• Proven experience in completing at least one project using Scrum or an equivalent Agile framework. Expertise in requirement gathering and software design using "Design Patterns."
• Proficiency in programming with techniques like: Test-Driven Development (TDD), Pair Programming, Secure Coding.
• Certifications: Certified Scrum Developer (preferred).
• Cloud certifications such as Azure Developer Associate/Expert or equivalent are advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills for collaboration in Agile settings.

Information:

• Salary: Base + Performance Bonus
• Location: One Raffles Quay North Tower
• Working hours: Mon-Fri, 9am-6pm or 9.30am–6.30pm
