Compliance Officer | Bank | 6-month contract

• Ensure efficient investigation and identification of money mules and monitoring of suspicious activities and transactions, with timely escalation to respective parties where appropriate.
• Work closely in collaboration with internal stakeholders to manage money mule surveillance and risk
• Undertake other ad-hoc duties as and when required, e.g., provide statistics and ensure accuracy of data, extraction of documents and weekly reporting etc.
• Maintain a current understanding of scams and money laundering issues, including policies, procedures, regulations, industry best practices, criminal typologies and developing trends

• Degree in any related field with at least 1 year of work experience in investigations, compliance or transaction monitoring
• With banking background is advantageous
• Basic computer knowledge (Word, Excel) is essential
• Have an eye for details and with good analytical, communication and written skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment under tight SLAs, and resourceful
