Fund Manager (fund admin/ops/research experience) (ID: 704353)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct fundamental and quantitative research on equities, fixed income, and alternative investments to inform investment decisions.
• Monitor portfolio performance, risk exposures, and ensure compliance with investment mandates and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare investment recommendations and research reports for internal committees and senior management.
• Assist in portfolio construction, asset allocation, and rebalancing activities in accordance with strategic objectives and market conditions.
• Execute trades aligned with the portfolio strategy, ensuring accuracy in order placement and settlement.
• Track macroeconomic trends, industry developments, and company-specific news affecting portfolio holdings.
• Collaborate with risk, compliance, and operations teams to ensure effective governance of investment activities.
• Maintain comprehensive investment documentation, data accuracy, and performance reporting.
• Participate in investment committee meetings, contributing insights to strategy discussions.
• Support due diligence on new investment opportunities through meetings with relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in fund administration or fund operations.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, ACCA) and CMFAS Modules RES1B, RES3, RES5, and CM-EIP are advantageous.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Good written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively.
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic team player with effective interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in MS Office applications; familiarity with Bloomberg Terminal is a plus.
• Availability for immediate or short notice commencement.
