Job Summary

The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for driving Taidii’s regional growth in Singapore and Malaysia through proactive outbound sales activities, market expansion, and pipeline generation. This role requires a highly motivated individual who is comfortable with cold calling, prospecting, and engaging decision-makers across preschools, childcare centres, and education groups.

The primary focus is generating qualified opportunities and expanding market coverage.

Key Responsibilities

Outbound Prospecting & Cold Calling (Core Responsibility)
  • Conduct daily cold calls to prospective schools, childcare centres, enrichment centres, and education groups
  • Generate new business opportunities through outbound calling, email outreach, WhatsApp engagement, networking, and referrals
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects
  • Identify decision-makers and secure meetings, demos, and discovery sessions
  • Follow up consistently to nurture prospects through the sales funnel
Market Expansion & Territory Development
  • Identify and penetrate new territories across Singapore and Malaysia
  • Conduct market research and mapping to identify target accounts
  • Expand Taidii’s presence within assigned regions
Relationship Management
  • Build strong relationships with school owners, principals, operators, and key stakeholders
  • Understand customer pain points and propose suitable solutions
  • Represent Taidii at events, roadshows, and networking sessions
Sales Administration & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and activity tracking
  • Prepare weekly sales pipeline and activity reports
  • Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and customer success teams
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • At least 1–3 years experience in sales, telemarketing, business development, or outbound prospecting
  • Comfortable making high-volume cold calls daily
  • Strong objection-handling and communication skills
  • Resilient, self-motivated, and target-driven mindset
  • Proficiency in English; Mandarin and/or Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage
