We currently have vacancies for Special Education Teachers. This is a full time role that will require you to conduct and manage classes in the school as well as carry out regular home visits to our students.
Responsibilities include:
- Plan and carry out group lessons within the classroom
- Employ appropriate educational strategies and techniques to ensure the holistic development of each student.
- Develop and implement personalised lessons for each student, according to their age, abilities, and needs.
- Engage and work closely with parents and the school community to help every student reach their full potential.
- Carry out home visits to train caregivers and ensure that the monthly lesson plans are implemented correctly
- Provide educational and behavioural techniques/ strategies to enable caregivers to effectively carry out lesson plans at home
- Carry out regular home visits to implement monthly lesson plans as a tutor
- Experience working/ teaching special needs children
- Specials needs education training and experience required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
