About the role
Chelsea Logistics Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Prime Mover Driver to join our team in Jurong West. This is a full-time position that will involve operating large commercial vehicles to transport goods throughout the region. As a valued member of our logistics operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of our clients' shipments.
What you'll be doing- Operate prime movers and other commercial vehicles in a safe and responsible manner
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and report any vehicle issues or maintenance needs
- Load and unload cargo as necessary, ensuring secure and damage-free transport
- Plan efficient routes and navigate to delivery destinations on schedule
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation for all trips
- Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
- Provide excellent customer service to clients throughout the delivery process
- Valid Class 4/5 driving licence with at least 1 year of prime mover driving experience
- Strong knowledge of local road networks and traffic regulations
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as loading and unloading cargo
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ensure safe transportation of containers to/from PSA
- Familiar with PSA operations
