Bukit Merah - Quality Assurance Engineer

Job purpose:

The Quality Assurance Engineer will support the QA Supervisor in daily operations, ensuring that all products and processes meet quality standards and customer expectations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform incoming inspection and sorting of components.
• Initiate rejection tags for non-conformities and follow up on their disposition.
• Manage non-conforming materials, including customer returns and coordination with factories or suppliers.
• Monitor and track incoming inspection results and maintain records.
• Manage customer complaints related to product quality; coordinate corrective actions with factories and suppliers.
• Liaise with customers on quality issues, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication.
• Develop and implement quality inspection plans, process control plans, and work instructions; train personnel accordingly.
• Conduct audits of supplier processes and qualifications.
• Support the QA Supervisor in ensuring compliance with customer requirements and quality standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

• ITE or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in quality assurance, with knowledge of ISO 9001 standards, quality auditing, and statistical tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Self-motivated, resourceful, and able to work independently.
