Social Media and Digital Executive

Role Purpose
  • To drive the company digital and social media presence by effectively managing day-to-day social channels, executing targeted digital campaigns, and optimising performance to achieve business objectives.
  • This role focuses on increasing brand awareness, growing and engaging the customer base, and supporting sales through data-driven strategies, while ensuring seamless integration of digital initiatives across marketing functions and delivering strong online customer engagement.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day management of social channels and digital presence on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc; in line with regional social media content calendar, including content publishing and community management and response.
  • Develop hyper-targeted digital media plans that align to business objectives and provide impactful returns, focusing on raising awareness (reach), new customer acquisition (leads) / database-building (fanbase growth & engagement) and driving sales.
  • Track, evaluate and report social media channel performance and continually optimise executions to drive best results.
  • Ensure social media and digital opportunities are maximised by integrating into all our marketing plans and practices working across functional departments.
  • Monitor social media - competitor activity and general trends.
  • Maintain good customer service online.

Experience:

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or related fields, preferably in the retail or consumer-facing industry.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, YouTube).
  • Experience in content creation, community management, and customer engagement on social platforms.
  • Familiarity with online marketing tools and analytics, including social media management tools, social listening platforms, and influencer identification and campaign execution.
  • Basic knowledge of paid media planning, audience targeting, and campaign optimisation would be an advantage.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Digital Media, Business, or a related field.

  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to operate at a strategic level and effectively manage change.
  • Highly organised, good time management and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrates commitment to the values and ethical objectives of the organisation.
