Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical expertis to carry out equipment maintenance services and sustain production operation throughout with minimum machine breakdowns and repairing time.
• Responsible for production area repair and maintenace activities including corrective, preventive, ad predictive maintenance.
• Responsible for front-end equipment troubleshooting and assisting operator to get back equipment/machine into production mode.
• Responsible for the execution of Emergency & Urgent Corrective Work orders.
• Complete assigned work order timely as per maintenance schedule and specification.
• Report any abnormal observation pick-up during troubleshooting, maintenance, or calibration activities.
• Performance work order administration including charging out of spare parts consumed, maintenance history, time spend, start, and end time on the work order.
• Provide feedback on any improvement for maintenance task / checklist details that were picked up during the execution of the work order.
• Perform duties such as PTW Requester, Work at Height, Confined Space Entrant, and Attendance.
• Ensure safe work practices and good houskeeping are maintenanced during maintenance activtities.
• Assist the engineers in troubleshooting and other improvement projects.
• Perform shutdown activities.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, regulatory requirements, ISO standards, EHS standards, and other relevant policies / standards.
• Ensure workplace safety and be responsible for notifying management in a timely manner of EHS / GMP deficiencies.
• Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

• Diploma or equivalent with 3 years of experience or NITEC with 5 years of relevant hands-on experience.
• Maintenance experience in manufacturing environment and / or Food processing industries.
• Able to communicate effectively with good command of written and spoken English.
• Experience in CMMS system.
• Demonstrate the ability to analyze, solve problems and execute tasks assign.
• Experience working in EHS environment and permit to work system.
