Reporting to the Group CMO, the Global VP of Brand will manage a globally distributed team of brand leads covering APAC, Europe, US and MEA. This is a leadership role that requires the individual to be hands on across all touch points ranging from brand design, brand strategy to social strategies.

This role will also provide guidance to franchisees and brands owned by the group.

Client Details

Our client is a successful, profitable and renowned player in QSR. With operations in more than fifty countries and a vast retail presence across several key brands, they have delivered consecutive record years in revenue and profitability. Over the last few years, they have built and acquired major QSR brands and are looking to widen their market dominance to be a global top player in the next five years.

The Global VP of Brand role will be primary brand custodian for our client's brands. This is a newly created, permanent role.

Description

Reporting to the Group CMO, the Global VP of Brand will manage a globally distributed team of brand leads covering APAC, Europe, US and MEA. This is a leadership role that requires the individual to be hands on across all touch points ranging from brand design, brand strategy to social strategies.

This role will also provide guidance to franchisees and brands owned by the group.

The measures of success in this role are:

  • Brand awareness: drive search volume and brand recall value
  • Brand perception: via brand health surveys, lead sentiment analysis
  • Customer Loyalty: drive improvement in NPS
  • Engagement: own content engagement rate & social media interactions
  • Market impact: measure market share, brand-driven sales
  • Financial Efficiency: using brand efficacy to drive lower CAC & better ROI
  • Media Presence: own media coverage and competitive benchmarking
Profile
  • Masters or Bachelors' Degree in Marketing, Business, or a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum fifteen years' experience in a regional or global brand management role, with at least three years in a highly scaled QSR brand.
  • Candidates who have worked across multiple regions (EMEA, APAC, Americas) will find this a good fit.
  • Five or more years in a line management role, with at least five direct reports at Director level.
  • Experience in (non-QSR) retail businesses could be considered too.
  • Expertise in being a brand custodian at a regional or global level is a must.
  • Analytical personality and ability to drive financial efficiency customer insights.
  • Flexibility to travel, up to 50%
