About the role
English by Jen' is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced English Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis at our Novena Central Region location. As an English Teacher, you will play a crucial role in helping young students develop their proficiency in the English language and fostering a love for learning.
What you'll be doing- Develop and deliver engaging English language lessons for primary school students
- Create and implement effective teaching strategies to cater to students' individual needs and learning styles
- Assess students' progress and provide regular feedback to support their academic growth
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and continuously improve the curriculum
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student performance and attendance
- Actively participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching skills
- Bachelor's degree in English Education and/or NIE-trained
- Minimum 2 years of experience teaching English at the primary school level
- Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and parents
- Ability to create and adapt lesson plans to meet the diverse needs of students
- Passion for education and a commitment to helping students reach their full potential
- Familiarity with the local curriculum and educational standards is preferred
