Choa Chu Kang - ENGINEERING ASSISTANT cum DRAFTER

We are seeking a talented Electrical Engineering Assistant cum Drafter to join our team at Megawatts Engineering Services Pte Ltd. This full-time position is based in our office in the Pioneer Sector West Region. In this role, you will provide critical electrical engineering and drafting support to our project teams, playing a key part in the successful delivery of our engineering services.

• Assisting the engineering team in the design, planning and execution of electrical systems for a variety of projects
• Producing detailed electrical drawings and schematics using CAD software
• Conducting electrical load calculations and equipment sizing
• Coordinating with other disciplines (structural, mechanical, etc.) to ensure design alignment
• Providing on-site support during installation and commissioning of electrical systems
• Maintaining accurate documentation and records throughout the project lifecycle
• Collaborating with the team to identify areas for process improvement

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 2 years of experience in an electrical engineering or drafting role, preferably in the building services or industrial sectors
• Proficient in the use of AutoCAD and other design software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with team members and clients
• Familiarity with electrical design standards and regulations
