Regional Business Development Lead (Cold Chain Logistics)

The Opportunity:

Adecco is partnering with a high-growth start-up in the commercial mobility and cold chain logistics solutions space, currently in its early expansion phase.

We are looking for a Regional Business Development Lead to spearhead channel development and market expansion, focusing on building partnerships, driving sales initiatives, and establishing market presence across multiple regions.

This is a strategic, hands-on role suited for someone who enjoys building from ground zero, shaping go-to-market strategies, and directly influencing regional growth.

Role Details:

  • Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
  • Location: Central Region
  • Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am to 6pm

The Job:

  • Take ownership of new business hunting activities, identifying and developing new markets and revenue opportunities within the cold chain logistics ecosystem
  • Proactively prospect, pitch, and convert new clients and channel partners, including distributors, fleet partners, and cold chain logistics players
  • Drive end-to-end business development cycle - from lead generation to partnership closure (e.g. MOUs)
  • Build and expand regional channel networks to support business growth and market penetration
  • Lead sales presentations, commercial discussions, and negotiations with potential partners and clients
  • Gather and translate market insights into actionable strategies for pricing, positioning, and regional expansion
  • Work closely with leadership to shape go-to-market and commercial strategy
  • Travel regionally approximately 1-2 times per month for business development and partnership engagement activities

The Talent:

  • 5+ years of B2B business development / sales experience within the cold chain logistics industry
  • Proven track record in hunting, channel development, partnerships, or regional market expansion
  • Strong understanding of cold chain logistics operations, customer landscape, and market dynamics
  • Experience operating in a regional / market expansion capacity is highly advantageous
  • Comfortable working in a start-up or evolving business environment with ambiguity
  • Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and commercial acumen
  • Ability to travel regionally for business development activities
