Finance Executive - Toa Payoh

The Finance Executive will be part of the Finance Team reporting to Financial Controller. You are responsible to handle financial and operational functions.
Job Responsibilities- Ensure timely recording of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions for monthly reporting purposes
- Ensure timely recording of investment-related transactions for monthly reporting purposes (including fair valuation of investments)
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Perform inter-company billing and reconciliations
- Monitor cash operations and liaise with banks on operation of bank accounts
- Coordinate and execute instructions relating to fund transfers and fixed deposit placements
- Prepare weekly cash management report and monthly cash flow forecast
- Handle full set accounts for subsidiaries
- Process payments based on approved internal policies and ensure account codes are properly assigned
- Assist in the preparation of GST returns
- Prepare financial and management schedules, support timely reporting of management reporting
- Assist on review of payment runs for joint venture companies
- Assist on budget preparation for subsidiaries
- Assist on project work where appropriate
- Maintain filing of accounting journals
- Assist in the administration work of the finance team
- Possesses at least a Diploma in Accounting with preferably minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in Finance / Accounts.
- A meticulous, detailed and organized team player
- Able to uphold strong work ethics in handling confidential information
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Conversant in MS Office
