Job Summary

• Acquire, grow, and retain profitable commercial banking customers within risk parameters.
• Develop and execute account plans to provide tailored financial solutions.
• Generate new business opportunities and convert prospects in line with risk appetite.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure portfolio growth.
• Market and sell a wide range of banking products including trade services, cash management, treasury, and investment solutions.
• Prepare credit proposals, loan applications, and conduct timely annual reviews.
• Collaborate with credit teams to ensure quality lending decisions and compliance with credit policies.
• Ensure adherence to AML, CDD, and KYC requirements, conducting regular due diligence reviews.
• Drive operational efficiency and continuous process improvement.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to deliver effective client solutions.
• Manage risk and compliance in line with regulatory standards and organisational policies.
• Uphold ethical standards and embed organisational values in all business activities.

• Minimum 6 years of experience in commercial or corporate banking, including client acquisition and relationship management.
• Strong credit analysis and financial statement evaluation skills.
• In-depth knowledge of trade finance, cash management, lending, and FX products.
• Familiarity with banking regulations, compliance, and operational procedures.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage complex client portfolios.
• Knowledge of local industries, supply chains, and market environment.
• Proficiency in financial markets and investment products.
• Experience with cross-border transactions is an added advantage.
• University degree in a relevant field.
