Assistant Relationship Manager (Japanese-speaking) x6 - Toa Payoh

Salary Range: 4,000 - 8,000 SGD

Our client is a wholly-owned subsidiary of one of Southeast Asia’s largest banks. They are seeking an Assistant Relationship Manager to provide support to Relationship Managers serving Japanese private banking clients. This role offers an opportunity to gain exposure to private banking and develop a career in client advisory.

• Provide administrative and client service support to Relationship Managers.
• Respond to client enquiries and instructions, and assist in resolving requests or issues.
• Maintain client data and reports, including contact lists, account numbers, facilities details, and credit review/renewal status.
• Perform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, preparing correspondences, arranging travel, organizing meetings and receptions, and producing presentation materials.

【 Requirements & Preferences 】

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma
• Possess experience in handling Japanese clients
• 3 years of experience in client servicing, operations, or sales support within financial institutions
• Extensive experience is not required; the company values motivated, capable individuals with potential to develop into client advisory roles.
• Fluent in English and Japanese (JLPT N1) – strong listening, writing, and speaking skills
• Basic knowledge of financial products and services
• Possess working experience in a Japanese financial institution
• Experience in handling Japanese clients

• CACS qualification (must obtain after joining if not already held)
• Prior experience as an assistant
• Experience in private banking
