We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Vice President, Learning.
In this role you will:
- Reporting into the Head of Learning and working closely with colleagues, internal and external stakeholders, vendors, to bring to life strategies and to ensure that solutions are relevant, engaging and impactful
- Enable the of development initiatives, track performance and impact measures, and support continuous improvement through data-led insights
- Working as a key enabler within the team, merges consulting mindsets with delivery execution, flexing across initiatives, portfolios and priorities to meet business requirements
- Strengthens workforce capabilities and fosters a culture of continuous development. Provide strategic guidance and expertise to client groups, supporting workforce capability needs and people priorities through fit-for-purpose solutions
- Collaborates with external industry stakeholders and education providers in Singapore to implement learning solutions/ workforce development initiatives. Represents HSBC in relevant working groups and contributes towards industry insights
- Contribute to the strategy, design, curation and management of enterprise-wide solutions and career development tools aligned to key skills, domains and development segments across all business and infrastructure areas
To be successful you will need:
- Comprehensive experiences in Learning and workforce Development. Possesses a strong understanding of Singapore's learning and development landscape, including local practices, regulations, and industry standards
- Covers a wide range of diverse activities requiring judgement, strategic vision, and analysis
- Proactively develops innovative ideas, continuously seeks improvements in techniques to add value to the business, and takes full responsibility for implementation
- Motivated and self-initiating individual who demonstrates a proactive approach to tasks and responsibilities
- Requires the ability to guide others through the developed skills of communication and diplomacy
- Demonstrates strong team player qualities by collaborating effectively with colleagues, internal and external stakeholders, to achieve shared goals
