Document Controller (Construction/1 year contract/Project site)
Job Summary
The Document Controller is responsible for the systematic management, distribution, and archiving of all project documentation. By maintaining rigorous control over document numbering and transmittals, you provide the administrative backbone necessary for seamless communication between the project team and the Client, ensuring all submissions meet strict company and contractual standards.
Key Responsibilities- System Administration: Establish and manage the documentation framework and submission processes to ensure a streamlined workflow with the Client.
- Quality Assurance: Perform comprehensive quality checks on all documents to ensure they comply with the Company’s established document control procedures and standards.
- Documentation Review: Audit the completeness of all technical and administrative documentation before preparing formal transmittals for submission.
- Registration & Tracking: Receive, log, and register all incoming and in-house generated documents, maintaining an up-to-date and accurate master document register.
- Version & Numbering Control: Oversee the formal issuance of document numbers and maintain rigorous control over revisions to prevent the use of obsolete information.
- Filing & Archiving: Ensure meticulous classification, sorting, and filing of project records, managing both digital and physical archives for easy retrieval and long-term storage.
- Diploma/Bachelor degree in Business Administrative or relevant.
- Possesses Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) experience is preferred.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage high volumes of information under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Document Management Systems (DMS) and standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat).
- Understanding of construction industry documentation (e.g., drawings, RFI, MOS, and submittals) is highly advantageous.
