Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager (Marine Navigation Systems)
Position : Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager (Marine Navigation Systems)
- Location : Bulim Dr- Few bus stops from Boon Lay Interchange
- Working hours : 5 days/ (Monday- Friday, 8:30am-6:00pm)
- Salary(commensurate depending on experience) : Up to $6500 + AWS + Bonus + 14 days Annual Leave.
- Duration : Permanent
- Industry : Marine Navigation system –MNC
Main responsibilities:
- Drive sales growth and manage business activities within assigned markets
- Build and maintain relationships with customers and business partners
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Prepare and deliver commercial and technical presentations
- Develop and submit sales proposals based on customer requirements
- Negotiate contracts and close sales in line with company targets
- Monitor order progress from contract issuance to delivery completion
- Represent the company at exhibitions, trade shows, and industry events
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution
- Act as the main point of contact for customer enquiries and issue resolution
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field
- At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in the marine industry
- Strong communication and presentation skills to engage stakeholder
- Detail-oriented, able to work independently and meet sales targets
- Willingness to travel overseas as required
- Role requires travel to client sites; candidates should be able to commute efficiently
- Knowledge of marine navigation equipment is an advantage
- Experience handling ship owners, ship managers, or shipyards is beneficial
