Project Officer (Organic Chemistry)
It is jointly run by the College of Science and the College of Engineering.
Our School hosts world-class education and research programmes in organic and inorganic chemistry, physical chemistry, chemical engineering, and bioengineering. We aim to nurture future-ready graduates with the ability to tackle new challenges in chemicals manufacturing, healthcare, energy, food, and other important sectors.
We are looking for a Project Officer who is a skilled organic chemist who have experience to design and preparation of organic molecule and ripening and crystallisation. The candidate should also have experience in mentoring undergraduate students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Synthesis of organic molecules
- Optimisation of ripening conditions
- Supervision of undergraduate student
Job Requirements:
- BSc qualification degree in Organic Chemistry
- At least 2 years of relevant experiences in organic chemistry, ripening and crystallisation
- Good written and oral communication skills (if applicable)
- Competent in mentoring UG students
