To support the sales team in managing customer enquiries, quotations, orders, and delivery schedules for steel reinforcement and related products. The Sales Coordinator ensures smooth coordination between customers, production, procurement, and logistics to meet deadlines and maintain high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Support
  • Prepare and assist sales manager to issue quotations for rebar, cut & bend steel, and related products based on customer requirements and specifications.
  • Follow up with customers on proposals, pricing, and order confirmations.
  • Assist in preparing tenders, bids, or project submissions when required.
  • Order & Delivery Coordination with planning, logistics and production on delivery timelines.
  • Process newly awarded sales contract accurately and ensure timely input into systems.
Customer Service
  • Act as the point of contact for customers regarding order status, delivery schedules, and after-sales support.
  • Handle customer complaints or delivery discrepancies and escalate issues promptly.
  • Documentation & Reporting
  • Prepare invoices, and supporting documents for billing
  • Maintain up-to-date records of contracts, purchase orders, and correspondence.
  • Assist Sales team to generate regular sales reports, project status updates, and forecasts for management.
  • Assist the sales team in tracking ongoing construction projects and market trends.
  • Help identify potential customers or new business opportunities within the construction sector.
Relevant Experience and specific skills required
  • Diploma or equivalent in Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in sales coordination, preferably in the construction or steel industry.
  • Familiarity with rebar specifications, cut & bend processes, and construction project timelines is an advantage.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills to handle multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of ERP or inventory systems is preferred
